Terms of Service
These terms set out how you may use the Altura website and the basis on which we offer our cotton womenswear. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
1. About us
This website is operated by SIA Altura LV, a company registered in Latvia with its studio at Stacijas iela 26–1, Ludza, LV-5701. Throughout these terms, "Altura", "we" and "us" mean SIA Altura LV, and "you" means the person using the site or placing an order.
2. Orders & enquiries
Our shopping bag works on an enquiry basis. When you send your bag, you submit a request to purchase — not a completed sale. We will confirm availability, delivery and payment details with you by email before any order is finalised. A binding contract is formed only once we confirm your order in writing. We may decline or cancel an order where an item is unavailable, where there has been a pricing error, or where we reasonably suspect misuse.
3. Pricing & payment
All prices are shown in euros (€) and, where applicable, include VAT. We take care to price everything correctly, but if we discover an obvious error we will let you know before proceeding. No payment is taken through this website; our studio arranges secure payment with you directly once your order is confirmed.
4. Shipping & delivery
We ship across the European Union from our studio in Latvia. Delivery costs and estimated timeframes are confirmed with your order; delivery is a flat €7 and free on orders over €150. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed, and risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
5. Returns & refunds
You may return unworn items with their original tags within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange, in line with your statutory rights under EU consumer law. Please contact us first at office@sia-altura-shop.eu so we can guide you through it. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once we receive and check the returned item.
6. Product information
We describe our pieces as accurately as we can. Because our garments are made from natural cotton in small batches, slight variations in colour, weave and measurement are normal and are not defects. Screen colours may also differ slightly from the finished garment.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, photographs, graphics, the Altura name and logo, and the overall design — belongs to SIA Altura LV or its licensors and is protected by law. You may browse and share links to the site, but you may not copy, reproduce or use our content commercially without our written permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it — for example, by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting the site, or using it to infringe the rights of others. We may suspend access where these terms are breached.
9. Liability
We provide this website with reasonable care and skill, but "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Latvian courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
